Construction M. Grégore and Construction Camax Merge to Combine Their Expertise
Construction M. Grégore Inc. and Construction CAMAX Inc., two general construction contractors in Beauce, officially announce their merger. This alliance, made official on November 1, 2021, allows the newly merged entity join forces to achieve its ambitious goals and conquer new construction markets across the province of Quebec.
A Strong Alliance
Construction M. Grégore, chaired by Darren Bolduc and specialized in private projects and interior systems, sought to make a name for itself in the public sector. Construction CAMAX, chaired by Maxime Veilleux and specialized in public projects, wanted to expand its service offering and develop new markets. “This union allows us to explore new avenues while we continue to excel in our current markets,” says Mr. Bolduc, President of the merged company. The merger followed from the companies’ shared values and their alignment on medium- and long-term objectives. “After only a few discussions, a trusting relationship developed between us. We shared a common vision to become an industry leader, in addition to sharing solid values that guide our decisions. This is the start of a great adventure together,” adds Mr. Veilleux, Vice-President and CEO (ou: Managing Director, Director General).
New objectives
The general objective of the merger is to allow the company to make an impact in Quebec as a general contractor, both in private and public sectors. In building the company’s future, Bolduc and Veilleux wish to draw inspiration from past accomplishments and from key players who have greatly contributed to the success of the organization. Mr. Grégoire Turcotte, founder of Construction M. Grégore, testifies: “With this merger, our company is entering a new stage, which, I am convinced, will take us to greater heights. I am proud to be able to pass on my experience to this new generation of entrepreneurs and to contribute to their success.”
The companies’ various projects are now managed by the same office and team, which includes members of both Construction M. Grégore and Construction CAMAX. The new head office will be located at the current head office of Construction M. Grégore, located on 8e Rue in Saint-Georges. “The execution and delivery of ongoing projects will continue with the same rigorous attention to detail and quality of service. It was also vital for us that our employees’ daily operations would only be positively impacted by the merger,” says Mr. Bolduc. All stakeholders remain in place and will continue to exercise their positive leadership with the entire team. The merger brings the number of employees to 120 with over 20 active or completed projects in 2021.
