The Lac-Mégantic fire station is a new construction including 2 floors of administrative offices and a 12,000-sq.-ft. work area. The client’s objective was to build a central fire station to improve logistics and allow the team to move more quickly. The building is equipped with solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system. The fire station is also connected to the Lac-Mégantic energy microgrid, making it an innovative building focused on sustainable development.
